Microsoft ended support for Office 2019 on October 14, 2025. The software still installs, activates and runs exactly as before, and your license does not expire — but Microsoft no longer issues security updates for it. We would rather tell you that plainly than have you find out afterwards.
Office 2019 is a sensible buy if price is the deciding factor and you work largely offline. Choose a newer release if the machine handles sensitive documents or your workplace requires supported software — Office 2021 runs until October 13, 2026 and Office 2024 until October 9, 2029.

Download instructions
Open the email from Vaneyo containing your license key — it arrives within minutes of purchase. Check your spam folder if it is not in the inbox.
Go to Microsoft’s setup page at office.com/setup and sign in with the Microsoft account the license should belong to. Create one first if you do not have an account.
Enter your 25-character product key. The license is redeemed to your account and the download becomes available.
Choose Install and let the installer download.
If you would rather we walk you through this, that is covered by your Installation Warranty — just reply to your order email.
Installation and activation
Uninstall any existing version first. Running two Office-family releases side by side on one PC causes activation errors and file-association problems.
Run the installer and let it finish.
Open one of the applications from the Start menu.
Accept the Microsoft license terms when they appear.
Activation completes automatically if the key was redeemed to your account. If you are asked to sign in, use that same account.
Confirm it worked: go to File → Account and check that Product Information reports the product as activated.
If anything stalls, contact us — installation support is included with every order.
Compatibility
File formats: reads and writes .docx, .xlsx and .pptx and opens the older .doc, .xls and .ppt formats, so files move both ways with other Office releases and with Microsoft 365.
Cloud: saves to OneDrive and SharePoint.
Alongside other Office versions: uninstall any existing Office release first — running two on one PC causes activation and file-association problems.
Not compatible with: macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, iPad and Android. The Mac and mobile versions are separate products.
Access and Publisher are Windows-only applications in every release.

No. For desktop email you need Office Home & Business or Professional Plus, or our standalone Outlook license.
Can I use it for business?
Home and Student editions are intended for personal, family and study use. For business work, Office Professional Plus is the appropriate license.

A one-time payment. You receive a permanent license key with no recurring charges. It stays valid and Office keeps working for as long as the product is not uninstalled or deactivated.
Is Office 2019 still supported by Microsoft?
No. Microsoft ended support for Office 2019 on October 14, 2025. It still installs, activates and runs, and your license does not expire, but there are no further security updates. If you need software in active support, we will point you at a current release.
